The Rojales Town Council has begun the bidding process to contract the public passenger transportation service that will connect various points in the municipality to the Thursday municipal market and the town centre, with the goal of facilitating citizens’ mobility to make purchases and run errands.
According to the tender documents, the contract, which was placed on the Public Sector Procurement Platform on January 14th, has a base tender budget of 77,420.46 euros (70,382.24 euros without taxes) and will be valid for four years with no potential of extension.
Providing regular services to promote market access
The contract’s purpose is to provide a regular passenger road service for general use, with a focus on transferring residents to the municipal market from various areas of the urban area and improving access to the municipality’s centre.
The service will be established completely inside the municipality of Rojales, in the province of Alicante, as part of the land transport services contract.
Simplified open procedure
The award will be made via a streamlined open approach, which allows any interested company to make a bid without further negotiation, with the proposal that provides the best value for money being chosen.
The deadline for submitting proposals through the state electronic platform is February 5th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
