Additionally, this weekend, there are two fiestas to celebrate: the Virgen de los Desaparados and the Virgen del Carmen. The former features maritime processions, while the latter features live music, community events, and gatherings.
This weekend happens to coincide with Benissa’s exciting Moors and Christians fiesta—which is normally held later in July—you won’t want to miss the costumes, parades, mock battles, and fireworks.

From July 4th through the 6th, Javea hosts an international cultural festival. This multicultural fest features 22 different countries’ worth of food, music, dancing, crafts, and kid-friendly activities. A chance to explore a rich cultural experience here on the Costa Blanca.
This weekend, from July 4th through the 12th, Denia will be hosting the “Bulls in the Sea” fiesta, where you can witness a spectacle of bulls charging into the sea, along with holy mass, parades, and fireworks. Valencian tradition is unlike any other.
