Torrevieja tenders the service of control and transfer of gallinaceous

The Torrevieja City Council , through its Local Government Board, has approved the tender to contract the service of controlling the live collection and transfer of wild gallinaceous birds  (fowl) in the municipality.

The Councillor for Animal Welfare, Concha Sala, explained that this contract responds to the need to regulate the population of wild hens and roosters , which in recent years have proliferated in parks, gardens, and public roads. It is estimated that there are currently around 700 birds in these areas.
