In Alicante, two males, 29 and 30 years old, with Algerian ancestry, have been apprehended by the National Police on suspicion of home invasion. While attempting to take goods, the individuals were apprehended inside the house.
Action by the police was triggered by the signal from the alarm centre. The public security agents were ordered by the 091 Room to respond to a residence in the northern region of Alicante after the activation of the security alarm. Two individuals were seen to be inside the house by means of the CCTV cameras.
Officers discovered the alarm control unit ripped apart when they arrived at the site, suggesting an effort to compromise the security system. The two criminals were found hiding in one of the rooms after they gained access to the property. There were many items riddled throughout the property, which clearly indicated that it had been searched.
The homeowner was contacted by the police immediately. The homeowner verified that she was unaware of the invaders and gave the assurance that nobody had authorisation to enter the residence. The two males were apprehended by the police on suspicion of burglary in light of the circumstances.
After the appropriate processes were completed at the police stations, the inmates were handed over to the Alicante Court of Instruction for further processing.
