According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU), a collision between two motorcyclists happened on the CV-950 road in the municipality of Orihuela around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, Friday July 4th. One motorcyclist was killed, and another was injured.
After receiving the notification, the CICU dispatched an Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) unit and a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit. Health officials verified the death of one of the riders, whose age was not released.
Multiple Injuries
The other rider, a 25-year-old man, was treated for several injuries, including a broken leg. He was then transported by advanced life support ambulance to Vega Baja Hospital in Orihuela.
There have been no further details revealed about the accident.
