The Micole platform has issued its yearly rating of Alicante’s top 100 schools. This rating is based on direct information from the schools, which has been validated against academic outcomes. Academic performance, services, facilities, family feedback, inclusivity, and institutional quality are all considered while determining the scores.
The 16 educational facilities in the Vega Baja region that have achieved a place among the top 100 schools in Alicante are listed below, from lowest to highest ranking.
The CEIP Sagrados Corazones de Redován is ranked 98th. It is a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
CEIP Villar Palasí, a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school in Orihuela, now ranks 92nd.
CEIP El Acequión in Torrevieja is ranked 87th. It is a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
The Maestro Salvador Ruso School of Torrevieja is ranked 75th. It is a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
CEIP Cuba in Torrevieja is ranked 67th. It is a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
CEIP Las Culturas de Torrevieja, a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school, comes in 49th place on the list.
The CEIP Habaneras de Torrevieja follows in 47th place as a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
The Jesús-María San Isidro School in Orihuela is ranked 40th on the list. It is a private, Catholic, multilingual, and co-educational school.
The Jesús-María San Agustín Orihuela School, a private, Catholic, bilingual and co-educational school, ranks 27th.
The CEIP Virgen del Carmen in Torrevieja ranks 22nd, and it is a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed school.
The Colegio La Purísima-Carmelitas de Torrevieja, a private, religious, bilingual, and mixed school, ranks 21st overall.
The Colegio Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Orihuela, a subsidised religious, multilingual, and co-educational school, ranks 20th on the list.
The Hurchillo Manuel Riquelme Public School of Orihuela is ranked 18th. It is a public, secular, multilingual, and mixed school.
The Diocesan School Santo Domingo of Orihuela occupies position 14, a subsidised, religious, bilingual and co-educational school.
Colegio El Limonar International School Villamartín (ELIS Villamartín) in San Miguel de Salinas ranks sixth. It is a private, secular, international, and co-educational school.
According to Micole, the best school in Vega Baja is Ciudad del Mar School in Torrevieja, which is public, secular, bilingual, and co-educational, ranking fifth.
On the other hand, Micole has also published a ranking of the best high schools in Alicante; only one of the 25 schools belongs to the Vega Baja region and is ranked as the best high school in the entire province: IES Number 1-Libertas in Torrevieja, a public, secular, bilingual, and mixed-gender school.
