The Orihuela Local Police received a call at 5:20 a.m today, Friday July 18th, about a heated argument in a home in the Orihuela district of La Aparecida.
Several patrols immediately responded to the scene. Upon arrival, a high-powered Alfa Romeo fled at high speed. Police officers pursued it until they tracked it down at the Renault station.
They also notified law enforcement agencies in other areas, and the car was spotted in Formentera del Segura, but they were also unable to arrest the occupants.
Meanwhile, a shootout erupted at the house where the argument was taking place, and two Moroccans, aged between 25 and 35, were found with gunshot wounds. They were taken to Vega Baja Hospital.
Everything indicates that the shooting was a settling of scores. The National Police are investigating the incident.
Neighbours in the area say that a couple, a Russian woman and a Moroccan man, lived in the house where the shooting occurred, along with their twin daughters, aged around ten. The injured men were apparently his siblings, although the family was not in the house at the time of the shooting.
