The Elche Local Police found a gun with its registration information deleted, which will make it easier to track down. According to a statement from the Local Police Headquarters, the seizure happened during a normal vehicle check in the Carrús district a few days ago. A man has been arrested for these events and accused of having a gun without permission, which may get him one to three years in prison. The court told him to let him go until they looked into it more.
The gun was loaded with real bullets, and the car the suspect was driving had foreign licence plates, even though it was a rental. This is another unusual thing that investigators are dubious of. The gun was a fifth-generation Glock 19, which is a kind that many state security agencies and bodies utilise, as well as many municipal police personnel. Because it has no finger grooves on the grip, a double-stack magazine, and a slide release for both right- and left-handed users, it’s a very popular weapon.
Ready to get fired
The officers also located a loaded bullet in the car, which they took. Officers confirmed that the serial number had been changed, which means that even if it has been reported missing, it is impossible to find out where it came from. This makes it impossible to find, as criminals sell it on the underground market for self-defence or to scare people. The local police station has not given any further information regarding the person who was arrested and taken to the Elche police station for further questioning.
