The Provincial Court of Malaga found a man guilty of having illegal weapons after police found a pistol, a silencer, and unused ammunition in good condition at his home in Marbella (Malaga).
The Court’s decision gives him a year and a day in prison, but the term is suspended for three years if he doesn’t commit any crimes during that time.
He can’t own or carry weapons for five years, and the weapon, silencer, and ammunition must be taken away and destroyed.
During the trial, the defendant agreed to the prosecutor’s request and the explanation of the facts after talking to the Malaga Prosecutor’s Office.
The Investigating Court number 3 of Marbella gave permission for an entrance and search on June 16th, 2020. The agents discovered a gun missing its serial number, a sound suppressor, and an abundance of unshot ammunition.
