The Benidorm City Council has said that it doesn’t have a contract with the people putting on the Reggaeton Beach Festival to hold it on city property right now. Because of this, the city is not responsible for any claims that might come up because of the ticket sales.
The Department of Events said in a press release that the council does not support the tickets being offered for the next edition of the event. They also said that any claims that come up from buying them should only be sent to the promoter.
The city council’s statement is in response to questions and concerns from those who want to go to the festival. The festival is pushing ticket sales for next summer, but the city hasn’t formally confirmed that it will happen.
Additionally, the local government has reminded everyone that starting next summer, a private company will be in charge of running municipal venues that are used for festivals. This means that organisers will have to deal directly with this company in order to hold their events.
The Benidorm City Council wants to make its position clear with this move. It wants to make it obvious that it is not responsible for the advance sale of tickets or any problems that happen during the festival.
