On Friday, November 7th, the judge of Court Number 2 in Totana ordered the temporary custody without bail of a second person who was arrested for allegedly being involved in the disappearance of two people from Ecuador last April in the Camposol residential district of Mazarrón. The bodies were located in a hole in the ground inside the complex.
The TSJ of Murcia says that he is being looked into in an open case for two murders. There is a first suspect who was put in jail on August 29th while the investigation is still going on.
The judge’s decision says that there are signs that the person being looked into could be one of the people who helped make the two men’s deaths and disappearances happen.
So, the judge has decided to keep the defendant in jail before the trial as a preventative measure to make sure they show up and to keep evidence from being destroyed. The investigating court has also ordered that the secrecy order that was in place in this case be lifted.
