A 21-year-old man in Alicante was arrested by the National Police because they think he was involved in a robbery with violence and has an outstanding warrant. The suspect stole a gold chain from a woman strolling down the street. Thanks to the help of the public, the jewellery was found and the suspect was caught.
A Citizen Security patrol conducted the arrest. The officers were on duty in the city centre when they saw someone holding a man down on the ground.
Witnesses interviewed by police said that the man they had arrested had taken a gold necklace from a woman and run away.
