According to authorities from the Ministry of Health, public health experts are looking into a probable case of food poisoning at a hotel in San Pedro del Pinatar that has made about twenty people sick.
Food safety experts have taken samples to find out where the illness came from and have worked with the hotel to put in place extra cleanliness measures. Twenty persons have been confirmed to be sick and have been treated at the Los Arcos Emergency Department and the San Pedro SUAP (Primary Care Emergency Service) for moderate symptoms. No one has needed to go to the hospital.
