The Pilar de la Horadada Town Council is paying for the whole campaign with €200,000 from the “Housing Voucher: 7th Economic Recovery Plan for Pilar de la Horadada” initiative. The first 6,666 homes that qualify will get a total of 13,332 coupons. The person who gets this help will have to report it as a capital gain on their 2025 tax return.
Because of this campaign, the first registered resident of each household who arrives to get two €15 vouchers will get €30 to spend at local companies that are taking part. You can use these vouchers from Thursday, November 20th, 2025, until December 8th, 2025. Before this date, anyone may pick up vouchers in person at certain municipal places over the same time period, until they run out.
You can pick up your items in the Town Hall building, CAMME, the Tourist Office, or the Campoverde Office if you show your ID and sign the Responsible Declaration.
People who live in the municipality and apply for the “Housing Vouchers 2025” program must meet certain requirements and obligations. For example, they must be registered as a resident before January 1st, 2025, and continue to be registered as such on June 1st, 2025. They must also be over 18 years old before January 1st, 2025, and have a valid ID. Before getting the voucher, the person who will benefit must sign the official form and swear that they meet all the program’s requirements.
Councillor Kini Rojano, who is in charge of Commerce, said, “We want to encourage all of our residents to support local businesses during this special time of year.” Shopping at our local stores not only assures warm, personalised service, but it also helps the economy of the city grow. This Christmas, shopping close to home is a way to help our relatives who own businesses, generate jobs, and keep the spirit of our streets alive. “Investing in everyone’s health means supporting local businesses.”
The taxpayer will have to report this aid as a capital gain on their 2025 personal income tax return.
