Sixty-three students took the Cambridge University English exams last Saturday, December 14th, at the University Centre (Seu Universitària) during the extraordinary December session. For the twelfth year, La Nucía has served as the official Cambridge English Exams centre in the Marina Baixa region. In total, 311 students have taken the Cambridge English exams in La Nucía between June and December 2025.

The students took the Young Learners Exams: A2 (Key English Test A2 for Schools), B1 (Preliminary English Test B1 for Schools), B2 (First Certificate in English B2), and C1 (Advanced Certificate in English C1). These exams are organised by Cambridge University in collaboration with the Australian Academy of La Nucía, Academia La Nucía, Academia Chatterbox, the La Nucía University Centre and the La Nucía Town Council’s Department of Education.
Sixty-three young students took the Young Learners Exams on Saturday, covering all areas of English: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This special session included students primarily from La Nucía, along with students from the rest of the Marina Baixa region, thus avoiding the need to travel to Alicante, thanks once again to the La Nucía Town Hall’s management of educational spaces.
