He was meant to try to avoid detection because he was wanted by a court, but he was arrested in El Campello following a failed license plate manipulation.
El Campello Local Police detained an automobile at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, September 8th, that the night shift inspector considered “highly suspicious,” according to municipal authorities.
The officer saw both the occupants’ behaviour and the vehicle’s modest speed on Avenida GermanÃes, which was regarded “abnormal.”
According to the same sources, the three males were “very nervous” in front of the patrol officers once the vehicle came to a stop. It was later discovered that all three suspects had criminal records for property crimes, and one of them, specifically the driver, was wanted by a criminal court in Alicante.
Attempted crime
The vehicle’s number plate had been crudely tampered with, with black electrical tape used to represent two number 8s and cancel out the true numbers. The goal of tampering with the license plate was to frustrate the activity of security cameras and police surveillance, therefore a crime is thought to have been prevented, according to the same sources.
Inside the automobile, investigators discovered and seized narcotics, namely cocaine, and all tested positive for the drug. The automobile was transported to the municipal impound yard until the true owner could be located.
