Two males, ages 27 and 29, have been arrested by the National Police for drug trafficking. They were running a drug sales point for cocaine and hashish out of a property in the northern section of Alicante.
The police said in a statement that the investigation started when they got word of a man who was allegedly selling and giving out these substances from his home with the help of his family.
After looking at the data and finding this man, officers set up various surveillance operations surrounding the property in question. This helped them find another home that was presumably being used to store these drugs.
After it was proven that the individual used both residences to buy and sell drugs and hide the money and drugs he got illegally, the police set up an operation that included two house searches. During these searches, two men were arrested on drug trafficking charges.
Officers found 300 grammes of hashish, 16 grammes of cocaine, 75 acorns of hashish weighing a total of 770 grammes, 38 grammes of marijuana, a precision scale, an air gun, and other tools used to sell drugs during the searches.
After the police looked into the matter, the people who were arrested were sent to the Alicante investigative court. The National Police say that the operation got rid of a “major drug sales point” in the northern section of the capital city of Alicante.
