Mayor of El Campello takes office as a provincial deputy for the PP

Juanjo Berenguer, Mayor of El Campello, was elected as a provincial representative for the PP during the Alicante Provincial Council’s February regular plenary session, which took place at the Provincial Palace.

Berenguer succeeds his colleague in the municipal council, Lourdes Llopis, who resigned. Until now, she had overseen the Human Resources department.

Following the inauguration, the change in responsibilities in Toni Pérez’s Provincial Council means that Berenguer will be the Deputy for People’s Welfare and José Antonio Bermejo will be in charge of Human Resources and the Pedro Herrero Institute, according to the decree that determines delegations.
